If you use File Labels in OS X Finder it’s handy to be able to find the files you label.
It can be done with a Saved Search (using a Smart Folder) or it can be done on the spot using Spotlight.
To do a search on the spot (no pun intended) just type “Label: [label name]” into Finder search. If you want to see just the files in the current folder, be sure to select that option when it appears. See the picture below.
In this exampleI I marked a few photos Blue and then with this simple search I was able to come back around and copy them out to another location for midifcation.
